Glenn's Japan Trip
Hi Ms Lee
My parents brought me to Japan for 7 days. We covered Osaka, Kyoto, Toyohashi, Mt Fuji & Tokyo. It was an enjoyable trip. Attached are some of my photos during the trip. Still got some video clips but file too big, unable to send. Have you been there before? Hope you’ll enjoy seeing my photos.
Regards
Glenn

Thanks Glenn for being the first to share his beautiful photos with us. (He sent an email with the photographs as attachments.) Hope the rest of you, who have not been to Japan, me included, have learnt a little about Japan from these pictures!
--> Glenn, you may want to explain a little about the photographs in the comments postings. Thank you!

Water Spout Sightings

On 25th May, many people saw this phenomenon which looks like a twister or tornado near the east coast area. It is actually not a rare sighting (my husband saw one when he was surfing out at sea during his teenage years), water spouts happen once or twice a year.
It is actually a narrow spout of water being sucked up to the base of a certain kind of clouds (cumuliform clouds) during thunderstorms as there is low pressure below the cloud.
Water spouts are known to dissipate rapidly near the coastal area and would usually not cause any harm or damage.
