Hello children,
I went to the Kallang Stadium yesterday to watch a football match between Singapore and Malaysia. I was one of the 55 ooo people at the National Stadium. Anyone one of you there as well? The stadium was totally packed and it was a sea of red, except for a small section of yellow (Malaysian fans)!
Singapore 1 Malaysia 1 at extra time but Singapore wins 5-4 on penalties.
It was really exhilarating and the atmosphere was electrifying and moving. It was the first time I heard the national athem being sung so loudly and with so much gusto! :)
There was also the kallang wave, kallang roar and the "Oleh oleh oleh oleh oleh oleh..."
I enjoyed myself alot!

yah shouted a lot especially when the last penalty was saved by the singapore goalie :)
The tickets were not expensive, it was $6 for one. I'm not sure which newspaper you are refering to Bryan, but the straits times reported 55, 000 fans were there. Well anyway it's just a massive crowd of people there!
OH I wish I was there to see the match.... Interesting?

The first half of the match was rather boring but it was more exciting after half time. I wen there with my husband and some friends.
